The XR Crossmax is the latest trail shoe from Salomon and is designed for off and on-road use.
Designed for trail runners who require a lightweight running shoe with motion control and stable cushioning, the XR Crossmax comes in a women's specific fit.
The stretch air-mesh upper gives support whilst allowing your feet to breathe. The tongue is gusseted and has a lace pocket which provides handy storage for the Salomon Quicklace™ lacing system.
Designed as more than just a trail shoe, the XR Crossmax functions beautifully through the transition from road-trail-road thanks to the Contagrip sole which has harder rubber in higher impact areas and softer rubber in lower impact sections. The tread is designed to shed mud quickly so your grip remains the same from a muddy trail to a wet pavement.
As well as the small amount of medial posting (a firmer section of rubber on the inside of the outsole) which guides your foot through the stride and helps prevent pronation and gives this version of the XR Crossmax it's name, this running shoe features the OS Tendon which runs through the sole of the shoe and gives your foot extra help as your toes push off.
The Ortholite® insole provides you with arch support and comfort for your whole foot.
