The Hatchet fin from FCS is well suited to old style longboards with soft rolled tail edges as well as modern nose-riders. The large surface area and upright shape provides added drive, promotes a longer turning arc and helps hold the tail in when nose-riding.
The Performance Glass (PG) material used to make this fin, mimics the properties of traditional glassed-on fins. The base tends to be stiffer whereas the tip is more responsive.
