The 4/3mm Psycho boot from O'Neill feels super light-weight and flexible but the Ultraflex Firewall, external fluid seam weld and taped interior seams mean you lose none of the warmth.
Straps across the ankle and bridge of the foot mean this boot stays put and keeps the water out, while the split-toe keeps you connected to the board by ensuring your foot won't move about. To prevent the leash from getting caught between your toes at that cruicial moment, the split-toe is joined at the end.
The sole of this boot is flexible and soft and the tread is built for grip. There's even a loop on the back for ease of pulling on.
